Luca’s Blog

Welcome to my blog! I’m Luca, a hobby programmer and tech enthusiast. Here, you’ll find some educational articles about my digital experiences, as well as other exciting posts on a variety of topics. Have fun exploring!

About Me

I’m Luca, a tech-enthusiastic student from Stuttgart. I discovered my passion for IT during my school’s technology class while constructing and programming with Arduinos. I then continued learning programming through online tutorials, starting with C and later moving on to Python. A few months later, I bought a used laptop to set up a Minecraft server. Over time, I installed numerous other applications on it, including this website. Besides my IT projects, I regularly go swimming and climbing in my free time. I also enjoy scuba diving in summer and skiing in winter.

My Home Server

The heart of every IT fan is their server — because without it, websites, bots, or automations wouldn’t work. My original home server was an old used laptop running Ubuntu Desktop. By now, I’ve switched to a newer, also second-hand, HP desktop PC with Proxmox as the operating system. This system runs various applications, such as this website or my Discord bot, neatly organized in separate containers. If you’re interested in the details of my server, you’ll find a more in-depth explanation here.

Python

Although Python wasn’t my first programming language, it’s the one I now use for almost all of my projects. After starting out with C, switching to such a comparatively simple yet powerful and widely used language felt like a huge leap in my development skills. Since then, I’ve created a variety of projects — the most notable being a Discord bot, a frontend for AI image generation, an AI short video generator, and an interactive school presentation about Python. You can find most of these projects in my GitHub repos.

Other Exciting Topics

Computer science feels like a foreign language to you? No worries. In the “Miscellaneous” category, you’ll find some exciting posts on topics and projects of mine that have little to do with technology but are just as worth reading. Feel free to listen to my podcast “Politik & Co” — it’s definitely worth it!

Further Notes

My blog is a work in progress. Whenever I have time, I add new posts, revise texts, or tweak layouts and designs. So it’s worth checking back soon ;-). If you have questions, feedback, or just want to get in touch, you can find contact options here.

Curious? If you want to keep reading, you’ll find links to more exciting topics and posts at the top of this page or in the hamburger menu.

Your Own Website

A website is like a digital business card. Whether for individuals as a portfolio or blog, or for small businesses as an online presence — in the 21st century, more and more people use the internet, including potential customers of your business or employers looking to neutrally assess their applicants.

So to stay competitive, a website is essential — not just for major IT providers, but also for you. But for most people, the technical barrier is simply too high: servers, WordPress, networking, hardware, cybersecurity — who can keep up? Not to mention the monthly costs, which often target mid-sized companies with existing expertise.

That’s why I want to give you the opportunity to effectively represent yourself or your small business online with your own website. With my experience, I help you write and design your homepage and posts stress-free and without prior knowledge — and I’ll host it for you on my server. And if any questions or problems arise, I’ll be there to support you personally and kindly — no annoying phone menus, support tickets, Google searches through complicated forum threads, requirements for prior IT knowledge, or other hassles that come with big providers.

If you’re interested in this offer, feel free to visit my offer page, where you’ll find more info and ways to get in touch without obligation. And even if my listed prices don’t fit your budget, I’m happy to negotiate an individual price with you — because I believe everyone deserves a website.
